Tides Beneath Us: An Introduction
Beneath the surface of every ocean lies a network of unseen currents that connect marine life across vast distances. Though often invisible, these currents sustain ecosystems, shape journeys, and remind us that everything is connected.
Tides Beneath Us draws inspiration from this idea. Co-created by artists with disabilities from Me2 Centre of Inclusive Arts and members of the public, this installation celebrates the connections that bring our community together and encourages us to reflect on our shared responsibility to care for both our environment and one another.
Throughout the three-day event, visitors are invited to join us at our booth and add on to the installation, demonstrating how individual contributions, no matter how small, can come together to create something meaningful.

Getting to Know Our Talented Artists
Jayden
Jayden is an artist with autism. His bold personality shines through his use of colors and very own signature drawing style. The doodles in Jayden’s artworks are abstract and pattern driven, each artwork telling a story of their own.
Sheng Jie
Sheng Jie details his artworks with careful attention, adding a touch of some of these magnificent creatures from the past in his creations. His overall color palette is bright and naturalistic, with careful hatch-style shading lines. His diagnosis with autism does not define him, but rather enhances his ingenuity and fascination for the arts.
Melissa
Melissa’s art style features a stylized and slightly whimsical renders of her everyday life, recreating the feel of a coloring-book aesthetics. Her linework confidently shines, with a hint of a playful personality through the color choices. Melissa is an artist with ADHD and autism.
